Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) Releases Key Updates

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Thomas J. Barrack Jr., Chairman of the Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC), shared key updates regarding the 58th Presidential Inauguration on January 20th, 2017:

“We are delighted with the progress of the 2017 Presidential Inauguration: ‘Make America Great Again!’ said Chairman Barrack. “This will truly be a powerfully uniting moment for the American people. We will celebrate our country, its diverse and patriotic heritage, our democracy and the inaugural process as the greatest display of a peaceful transfer of partisan power in the world. We will stand together as a nation behind President-elect Donald Trump and his vision of a better future for every American.”

The inaugural ceremonies will span over several days and will include events for the public on the National Mall, a welcome rally with President-elect Trump, a parade, two inaugural balls, as well as a ball saluting our armed services and first responders. A continuation of the President’s commitment to Make America Great Again! is the perfect foundation for President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence as they once again make the government of, by and for the people.

Official Inaugural Balls
President-elect Donald Trump will attend two official inaugural balls held on the evening of January 20th to celebrate his historic swearing-in as the 45th President of the United States.

Further, the President-elect will celebrate our armed forces and first responders by attending The Salute to Our Armed Services Ball. This event will be a special tribute to our veterans, those currently serving, military families, first responders, and those who have given the ultimate sacrifice so that we may all live in freedom.
